Question by GoonSquadX: I just got an email by a Nigerian Prince who personally wants me to help him?
I just got an email by a Nigerian Prince who needs my help by donating money to his cause every month to help him move his bank to a different country. I have to pay $ 74.95. And after he is successful in moving his bank, he will pay me $ 15 Million. Is this real or a scam?

Question by Sesay: A computer manufacture wants me to send back my old hard drive?
that they replace under warranty. Also want me send back the old memory plates they replaced. I have a lot of information i.e. Social security #’s, credit card #’s and a lot of personal information that I feel will be breach, if it got in the wrong hands. If I don’t send these parts back within ten days, they will charge me for cost of the new ones. What would be the most correct way to handle this dilemma? or am I worried about nothing?

There’s always the chance of someone stealing your data. However, they process a number of these drives a day and, in general, there have been no breaches.

You have little choice, unfortunately.

The power outlet on my laptop broke, the company wants $299 flat fee to look at it?

Question by ??????: The power outlet on my laptop broke, the company wants 9 flat fee to look at it?
I heard the power connector break inside my laptop computer and once my battery died the laptop blinked off. I called the manufacturer (it is well past the warentee, and was told that I have to give my credit card number and pay a base service fee of $ 299 that is not refundable and only covers one basic small repair.
Is there a way to get this fixed any cheaper?
