My uncle brought me his laptop to install an antivirus, and I found out that he has Vista Antivirus 2012 which is kind of a Malware and is impossible for me to uninstall it, please HELP

Easy peasy!

Download Malwarebytes (http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free) and click the grey button on the left.

Install it and run it, following all the on screen instructions it gives you including a re-start when it finishes.

It may take an hour or more to do a scan but it will rid the PC of the malware.

I had a computer with that trojan brought to me last weekend for cleaning. Mbam did the trick and I can recommend it to you.

I have it on my computer. I know its a scam that tries to get you to buy a fake product, but should I be worried about anything else? I recently paid a fee on my computer with a credit card; should I be worried about the number getting stolen?

Most of these things contain keyloggers. You should replace your card to eb on the safe side and then disinfect your pc.

Make sure the driver for the card reader isn’t corrupted. If it is, just re-install the driver. You can look in the “Device Manager” ( in Control Panel ) and see if the card reader indicates by a RED exclamation point beside the card reader, that the driver needs to be installed. Right click on the device to go online and retrieve the driver.

i really got my eye set on a best buy cpu (a1730n) i might buy this cpu around mid july. I’ve heard bad things about vista, all i wanna know is u think it will be bug free mid july because i don’t have any custom cpu repair/ build shops near my area and i do not have a credit card to make online purchases.
Just wondering if it will be safe to buy vista mid july, thanks

I have been looking around for a scanner for my computer. I really don’t want an all-in-one printer/scanner/copier. I’d rather just have a scanner. Well, after reading some reviews and actually liking the product I want to order a Canon CanoScan LiDE90 Color Image Scanner. I just want to know, with any people out there who have had the experience, I really need to know if there are certain things like software that I should download from the Canon website first before putting this on Vista home premium.

I got a Hp all in one printer/scanner/copier last week and things didn’t go too well. The computer did NOT recognize the usb hub. So I took it back and am looking for a computer online since they don’t have much of a selection at Best Buy. And I HAVE to get it at Best Buy since they gave me back store credit.

Advice please from anyone on working with scanner setups with Vista. Thank-you.
