Q&A: How do I use just my broken laptops screen to play games?
Question by Thames Knightly: How do I use just my broken laptops screen to play games?
Ok my old laptops motherboard is fried and I’ve done research but all I want to do is take the screen part off the laptop and use it as a “tv” to play Xbox off of. Is there any way I can do that and spend little to no money? Keep in mind I have no plans to buy a new tv as I am a college student on a small budget and can’t afford one

I Highly doubt that, considering that almost all laptop screens have different connectors. There would be no conventional way to do it to be honest.

Both cards should play it, how much are you looking to spend?
the EVGA GeForce 7600GT is only $ 109 on Newegg:

or if you want to go with a more powerful card for around the same price newegg also has the HIS Radeon HD 2600XT which supports DX10 for $ 99.99 after a mail in rebate

Drivers can be a bit sketch on those ATI cards though, especially the old AGP ones.
