Question by Slender L: Are these sites offering free ipods, ipones etc in return for referring people to sign up to offers a scam?
I have seen a lot of sites where if I refer people to sign up to offers such as a free trial to Blockbuster or get a credit report I can supposedly get incentives in return. Most commonly these are ipods or iphones, but I have also seen consoles and plasma tv’s etc. Are they legit?

Do you know that the companies offering FREE credit reports are selling your information for marketing purpose

The only reliable credit reporting companies are Experian, Equifax and Transunion, that I know of. They already have your personal data.

The rest are just websites that pass the personal info that you enter on to these other sites that then generate a report and send it back to the website, and then to you.

These websites are possers collecting personal information on viewers by offering FREE credit reports.

BE CAREFUL!!
A replier below mentioned www.annualcreditreport.com.
