Could someone list the required details? I’m no expert with computers, but with simple list of what I need to know I should be able to figure it out. I’ve recently purchased an incompatible video card without doing enough research, so I need to make sure I get it right this time.

You need to know what expansion slot/s your computer has.
ie: PCI, PCIe X1, PCIeX16, AGP, etc….
Check your manual or go to your computer maker’s website and check the specs for your eaxact model

My family and I are getting a new computer because our old one is a load of crap. I’m trying to convince my parents we should get a Mac, but they obviously would like a PC because it’s cheaper. I’ve heard a ton of good things about Macs, but could someone give me like good detailed reasons why a Mac is worth the extra money?

If no one in your family has ever used a Mac, which is also a PC, you will be totally lost trying to use one because they are completely different than a Windows based PC.

I have just started my own company, and there are about 10 people including myself working in a trading company.
normally, i would like to set up a few computer for us to:
1. emailing
2. daily word and data processing
3. an intranet
4. building up our own website
P.S. we do not have any expert in computer and it is too expensive to hire someone helping me to set up.

If you have no one who can at least set that up, you’ll be wasting more time playing around with it, than if you got someone and paid them for it.
Doesn’t take an ‘expert’ to do what you want, just someone slightly computer savvy.
If you have 10 people already working with you, at least one should have a kid that can do this!

Ever since Wal-mart did away with their lay away the only other store I know that does lay away is K-mart and they don’t have computers in the stores. Does anyone know how I can locate someone that offers lay away on computers?

You may have better luck with the local systenm repair shop, and picking up a rebuilt system there.
They’re the only ones willing to give anybody credit these days, except for that complete rip-off company (“Blu-Hippo”?) that charges a total of over $ 1500.00 for a $ 225.00 eMachines sytem or less, and you still don’t get Your computer until 18 months from the first payment.
Other than that, see if anybody you know actually does setm repauirs and has anything decent used. i kinow that Ive personally FOUND badly-configged systems in my area that people have thrown out (into parking lots at my work) that are worth a couple hundred bux anyway when set up correctly.
