Question by Imelda: Can PayPal still be used with PayPal balance but with a card linked to it?
I bought myself a Prepaid ANZ Visa Gift Card and created a PayPal account and linked it to that, but I read on some forums that you can’t add funds to your PayPal account using a credit/debit card. So, does that mean I can’t use PayPal or will the prepaid card just get charged when I purchase online?

Yes it can. If you have money in your paypal account it comes straight out. If you do not it will take it from the card or bank account you have linked to it. If the card is a debit card it will ask for all your bank info. When a payment is done in this manner , the payment is not instant. In fact it can take several days for it to process and the seller will be advised to not send any items pending the payment being processed. It can be a real pain in the butt. If you are going to use paypal that is how that works, but i would suggest finding another payment method and avoiding paypal.

Answer by AlertPay Inc.
No you don’t. You do however need to have all the correct account details in order, such as your name and address.
