I bought some clothes online about 3weeks ago and never received a confirmation email and have heard nothing since, the money has gone out of my bank account but I have not received my items. I have sent them two emails to no reply. What do I do next? There is no contact number on the website but its a legit site.

When you put something on the internet, it is there for good. For example, If you post pictures of yourself or your personal information, people can save it and then later repost it anywhere else. Generally, if you don’t want people to know or see something, don’t put it on the internet. Even Myspace private profiles aren’t secure anymore, because other people can get into them without having you on their friends list using third party programs and scripts. It is a good idea to think of the internet as public instead of private, to protect yourself.
Exceptions:
If you are on a secure website (the place where you enter your website address will have a yellow background, depending on what web browser you use) then you can safely enter personal information, credit card number, any of that type stuff and not worry about identity theft or anyone seeing that information. You will notice that when you log in to Yahoo!’s secure website, the address bar has a yellow background.

Internet memes are ridiculously popular, and ridiculously easy to make. If I wanted to make an internet meme, you know, to prove a point, and have it be insanely popular, how do I do it? Would it make me rich or famous?

I think you can make something that people can relate to. I’m not a meme expert and I don’t spend the majority time of my life to reading internet meme although I agree that they’re great source of joy and… well, basically, just plain great.
I think you can go to popular meme websites and study the pattern of popular meme. For me, for example, I think one thing that you always find in great meme is that it is highly relate-able. People can relate having awkward moment thus they invent Socially Awkward Penguin, etc.
And, no, it wouldn’t make you rich. It will probably make you famous to some extend, since internet is hardly university, which means people won’t actually care to credit meme correctly so there’s only a little chance that people will acknowledge that you made that popular meme.

I am currently living in a summer sublet, the wireless internet is provided by another dude living in the same apartment. I never used wireless so I dont know if he’s able to view or hold a history of the web sites I’ve been visiting. Does anyone know if this dude can or cant check out my web browsing history?

Please give very detailed advice because I don’t understand what to do, have had the laptop for over a year and am embarassed to tell anyone I don’t know how to get internet on it.
It’s a Hewlitt Packard laptop. I bought it used (but in excellent conditio) and there’s a card sticking out from the side that says D-Link. Whenever I turn it on and click on the internet logo it says no connection.

You really need to get local help. Without knowing how you are trying to connect, it is impossible to tell without being on site.

What is up with this “Internet Antivirus Pro” that keeps popping up on my screen telling me I am infected and how do I get rid of it without having to spend more money. Just had the Geek Squad get the 360 Antivirus off my computer and then this happens. What is this and why? It’s a rogue trojan and you may be infected by it.

And download then run the program to install and run the installed program to scan your machine.
