I want to run the same type of background check on myself that an employer can run. I have a few petty arrest from when I was younger. Some were no conviction, only supervision, when I was a minor, etc. I really want to know what an employer would be able to see when they run a background check on me. How do they do this? And please only put free references. I know there is some new website that has been advertising that they could do this but I don’t want to pay for anything. Thanks!

You could go to the courthouse that handled your supervision and ask how they retain records.
The websites that claim to do background checks should be avoided. Some of them are scams that don’t really find much information at all, and don’t even verify the information they find – they don’t make sure the information is not about someone with a similar name.
But it’s still a good idea to run a background check, because when people are arrested, they often give false names to the police officers, and it’s not until the prosecutors fully investigate that it’s found out. Someone could have been using your name !
Also do a financial background check by going to the website for free credit reports :

You don’t have to fill out any information on the website, look for the link that goes to the webpage that contains the link for downloading the paper version, fill that out and mail it in.

I just want to seal my records. I have a pass history I do not want it to hurt my change to get a job.

You cant go to any website to “seal you records”. If you have criminal past as a youth, you might be able to get a judge to seal them. Credit records cant be sealed. Past jobs will show up in your credit report, so its probably best not to lie.

There are four of us in our family, my mum, my 12 yo sister and my 14 yo brother. All of us kids share itunes on our ipod touches but all use my account to download free apps. Is there anyway to tell what apps have been downloaded by everyone? Like a history or something?
Answers would be greatly appreciated, we’re all in trouble cause someone borrowed my mums credit card and bought something….

Check in the Purchased section – it may show up there if it wasn’t a free download. It will still have your name against it as everyone is using your account but once you see what was purchased it may give you an indication as to who would have been interested in that particular item.
Also check for emailed receipts as generally iTunes store will email a receipt for a purchased item.
