Question by kecoa: Why do Japanese filmmakers always suck at combining live action with CGI?
We all know that they’re experts in anything related to technology. But howcome theyre not good in blending CGI with real people/surroundings in movies? Seriously, I’ve never seen any Japanese movies with believable realistic CGI… Arent they supposed to be good at it?

Generally, they have much smaller budgest than american Hollywood movies do.

It may to some extend be due to a greater emphasis on realism in western movies, but I think money is still the major limiting factor.
